1. Lizard Man

 

Description: Final Masters Project 10 weeks

- Base Mesh in Softimage XSI. 13,000 tris

- Normal Map and Displacement Maps generated in ZBrush

- Alpha Stencils created by myself in Photoshop for high poly detailing in ZBrush. Scale alphas generated from high resolution lizard pictures.

- All texturing is hand painted in ZBrush and Photoshop.

- All shaders built in ZBrush and applied via subtools.

- Character is lighted using XSI Global difuse Map imported into ZBrush.

- Rendered in ZBrush

 

2. Battlefield Massive Crowd Simulation

 

Description: Crowd Simulation group project – 8 weeks.

I was responsible for:

- Character Concept designs

- Storyboarding & Idea development

- Character Modeling of Viking Character in XSI and ZBrush.

- All texturing of Viking characters. This is two full characters including 3 variations for each character.

- Creation of Normal and displacement Maps.

- Texturing assistance for Egyptian character. This included boot, gloves & shorts again with over 5 variations for each component.

- Help with shot composition and cinematography.

- Editing & rendering assistance

 

3. Still Life (3D Portrait)

 

Description: Short side project during final master’s 10week term.

- Base mesh Softimage XSI

- Mesh 3000 Polygons

- Sculpted and textured in ZBrush & Photoshop

- Normal & Displacement Maps generated in ZBrush

- Rendered in ZBrush

- Depth of field added in Photoshop

 

      4. Russian High Altitude Pilot

 

Description: One week project

- Base Mesh of head, Helmet, components Softimage XSI 6.5

- Head textured using 3dsk photos with ZBrush Imageplane 3.1 and  Photoshop CS3.

- Base Mesh 1416 Polygons.

- Helmet Poly painted in ZBrush and Zapplink/Photoshop

- Clothing sculpted & poly painted in ZBrush

- Shaders constructed in ZBrush

- Lighted & Rendered in ZBrush

- Grading, colour correction, depth of field and affects added in Photoshop.

 

                  5. Concept Art

                  Description: All personal work mainly completed in Photoshop/traditional media
